SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS AND MUSIC LEADERS

We will be running a number of FREE tutor training sessions in Apple music production software GarageBand during autumn 2007. The sessions will take place at Apple Regional Training Centres across the country.

GarageBand is a fun and powerful piece of software that students can use to create, perform and record their own music. It makes it easy for anyone to create music, whether an experienced musician or not. Garageband helps them to record, edit and mix a song exactly as they want it! GarageBand opens the doors for anyone to get involved in creating music and can add an extra dimension in the classroom.

The Apple Regional Training Centre programme helps teachers & music leaders bring learning to life with digital technology. A nationwide network of Apple-approved Regional Training Centres (RTC) coach teachers and music leaders in the use of Apple’s award-winning software packages — giving them the know-how to enliven lessons with images, video and sound.
