HOW DO I USE THE SAMPLE SEQUENCER TO MAKE MY OWN TRACK?
- Use the buttons across the top of the sequencer to choose a genre of music to work in – Rock, Dance etc.
- Select your instruments from the list down the left side – drums, guitar etc.
- Each instrument contains a selection of sample sounds.
- Drag and drop the samples you like across the channels to create your track – they’ll snap into place as you drop them.
- You can only drop samples from one type of instrument in one channel (so if you drop a drum sample into channel 1, your guitar sample needs to go into another channel.
- All the music samples used in the Music Sequencer have been recorded in standard "E" key at 120bpm.
- The vertical lines mark the 4x4 tempo and each line is a ¼ of the tempo to help you compose music just like the musicians do.
- Use the loop sample command to repeat your sample across the channel from any point.
- Use the channel volumes to fade instruments up and down or mute them altogether so you can listen to different parts of your track.
- Save your track to your desktop as an MP3.
